We Are First
A team committed to helping you rebuild your foundation, restore confidence, and thrive at every stage of life.
Why First Exists
Too many people spend years putting everyone else first: work, family, responsibility.
When they finally decide to prioritise their health, they’re often met with confusing options, intimidating gyms, or injuries that need more than a group fitness class can offer.
“We created a space where you can start exactly where you are”
First Movement Co exists to offer a different path.
A place where Pilates and physiotherapy work together when they need to.
Where instructors take time to explain, not just instruct.
Where strength is built gradually, safely, and with intention.
At First, we believe looking after yourself shouldn’t come last.
It’s the starting point.
What We Stand For
-
Thoughtful, consistent movement supports recovery, resilience, and long-term health. It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what’s appropriate.
-
Good instruction matters. We believe everyone deserves clear and professional guidance, not guesswork or generic programming.
-
There’s often a gap between injury and confident movement. Our integrated approach helps bridge that space with care and continuity.
-
Strength, mobility, and confidence can be built at any age. Progress looks different for everyone, and that’s expected.
-
Moving well should support your life, not exhaust it. Our goal is to help you build capacity, confidence, and independence over time.
